Job satisfaction, a worker's sense of achievement and success, is generally perceived to be directly linked to productivity as well as to personal wellbeing. Job satisfaction implies doing a job one enjoys, doing it well, and being suitably rewarded for one's efforts. Job satisfaction further implies enthusiasm and happiness with one's work.
I believe in my trying my best to help my students achieve their goals.There have been times when together, the students, tutors, and parents, together agree on what needs to change over the course of the semester and how that will be implemented.For example, if a student wants that to improve their quiz and test grades to receive an "A", what do they need to change in their methodology before the test day? What needs to be done as a student? What is the tutor's role? The parents' role?

The student: it's your work, your grades, your school. Take it. Own it. Make it yours. Stamp it with your name. Look at example problems, create your own set of notes outside of class, ask for more worksheets from your teachers. If you put in the time, you will reap the rewards.Don't look for a crutch, instead, look for a step. Your resources are your own notes, textbook, and finally your personalized tutor. Your tutor is there to add clarity and depth to your studies. They are their so that you don't have to put in 150% of the effort, (although you should be giving almost 100% of your own effort). Ask questions, research online, schedule more sessions....whatever it takes.& Getting an "A" is within your own reach.
More formally, a tutor may see their job as inclusive of these roles
- plan and organize delivery by clearly specifying learning objectives and outcomes;
- set learning agendas and providing leadership and scaffolding in their student's learning objectives;
- welcome and embrace diversity of learning outcomes, attitudes and styles;
- adapt supporting styles to the needs of each individual
- create an atmosphere of collaborative learning of between the student and tutor
- be able to cope with and resolve on-line conferencing conflicts and difficult behaviors;
- implement methods for learner feedback and positive reinforcement;
- create advice on learning pace so as to avoid cognitive overload and information anxiety.
For me, my job satisfaction indicates that I do enjoy my job. I enjoy the student's and their diverse perspectives. I especially enjoy speaking with parents and their comments and concerns on their son or daughter's academic progress.t is when that student reaches their academic as well as personal goals that I am rewarded for my efforts.
